Ronaldo had a few chances to end his goal drought but he was unable to stick the ball in the back of the net against the Serie A outfit.

This is the longest time the 32-year-old has not scored for Madrid in the prestigious tournament and has only netted twice in the competition this term.

Despite his shortage of goals in Europe this campaign, Ronaldo has scored vital goals for Zinedine Zidane’s side in the group stages.

The Portugal international fired in a stunning free-kick in the 89th minute to equalise for Madrid against former side Sporting Lisbon before Alvaro Morata bagged a winner in injury time.
